FANFARE!
Comstock Record Promotion Deal Signed
In August, a deal was made to promote CJ’s
new CD “Ride The Storm” through
the worldwide resources
of Comstock
Records. CJ wanted to work with
industry
innovators like Frank Fara and Patty Parker. People
who have had their own musical careers
and
are experienced
at creating opportunities
for new artists. So far, eight songs
from “Ride The Storm” have
been played in ten countries in Europe
and Japan at 20 different radio stations and the number
goes up each day. Plus “Further
From The Truth” keeps climbing up the charts in Japan.
Revisit us to see where this leads…
Also,
a big THANKS to all the disc jockeys in all those countries
who
took the time to listen and play “Ride The Storm.”
We are grateful.

European
Reviews
From the radio show “Go West Go Country”
in Austria, DJ Hans Mair wrote: “TOP ARTIST, ALL SONGS
ARE VERY GOOD.” His favorite cuts are “Start Your
Engine Smile” and “No One To Stand Beside.”
From
the BBC in Shetland, Scotland, DJ James Pearson writes: MY
2 FAVOURITE TRACKS ARE 13TH TEQUILLA AND NOBODY'S GIRLY GIRL.
GREAT VOICE, GREAT SONGS, THIS CD IS FOR AN EXCELLENT CAUSE.
Come
back to see more.

VA
Hospital Tour
Since the business of doing shows and producing
CDs has been more successful than expected, CJ recently has
decided to do VA Hospital shows in Michigan and Ohio just
to say “Thanks for your service” to the soldiers
staying there.
These
shows tend to run several hundred dollars to perform, and
with the help of sponsor money and his own, CJ plans to play
as many of these hospitals as he can during the next year.
Patients at the show get a CD from CJ as a “Thanks from
all of us in America” who owe these soldiers a great
deal.
If
you personally or your company wishes to sponsor part of the
VA Hospital Tour, you can communicate your wishes by using
the email or phone number on the SHOW INFORMATION page at
this website. No sponsor donation is too small and will be
appreciated.

Premier
Show
CJ Baker performs sixty times a year and is
becoming a Premier Country solo artist in the Great Lakes
region singing his own original songs. Many types of venues
from Grand Rapids to Jackson, Michigan over to Metro Detroit
have
realized this fact since the number of gigs he does grows
higher each year. Now with the release of his new CD “Ride
The Storm,” the number of shows is growing even more.
“Seeing
the number of shows each year increase is satisfying,”
said CJ when recently asked about the future of his show.
“I also really like the reception I receive on
my own songs. Far more exciting to do my own songs about my
life experiences than any other material.”
The
CD “Ride The Storm” will soon be available at
CDBaby.com for hardcopies, and many digital download sites
like I-Tunes. Again, as with all of his CD’s, proceeds
from sales will be education shared.
